At Shalimar we have implemented stringent quality measures. All our products undergo Stage level and Final Inspection including PMI.

In accordance with Quality control, castings are procured from reputed foundries approved by internationally inspection agencies. The castings are regularly subjected to radiographic and other nondestructive examinations. Moreover, other components are cross checked to ascertain the purchase specifications and identification.

To create flawless products we take numerous other measures like using investment castings for valves up to 6 inches, importing bellows from Europe for longer cycle life and bringing in Monel & inconnel materials for components from the EU & other western countries. The interior of the valve is coated with Fusion Bonded Epoxy coating & ENP for corrosive applications

Each valve is then inspected for visual and dimensional requirements and subjected to hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure tests.
