| Gear Actuator : |
| Gearing
is mainly of bevel type and is generally mounted on
valves tomake operation easier. Gearboxes are completely
weather-proof & dust proof. |

| Electric Actuator : |
Motorized
controls may be applied to valves of almost any size
for operation in practically any position or location.
All actuators, mounted directly on a valve, can be
manually operated in case of power failure. The units
are completely weather-proof, explosion-proof(optional)
and dust proof. |

| Pneumatic Actuator : |
Air
operated actuators are mounted directly on valves
or on the brackets provided. These actuators are completely
weather-proof & dust proof. These are made of
cast iron. |

| Chain Wheel : |
Valves
sometimes are located too far above the floor for
convenient hand wheel operation. In such cases a chain
wheel may be substituted for hand wheel. All chain
wheels are equipped with guide not only to keep the
chain from jumping the wheel, but also to hold chain
inclose contact with large portion of the circumference. |

| By Pass Arrangement : |
By
pass arrangement are available for all cast steel
valves as per
requirements of MSS SP 45. |

| Stem Extension : |
All
valves can be provided with stem extensions. Extended
stems and valve stems are joined by universal joint.
The length of the stems depends upon cutomer requirements.
Floor Stands :
Floor stands are made of cast iron or steel parts.
The floor stands are
available in a number sizes and the size to be used
depends on the stem size and stem load of the valve.

| Hydraulic Dash Pot & Dead Weight
: |
In
order to overcome the hammering and banging of disc
against seat, it is required to provide some dampner.
Our check valves can be equipped with either Hydraulic
dash pot or dead weight or both. |

| Lock Open/Close : |
Some
times valves are required to be locked in open or
closed position. Shalimar valves can be locked either
in open position or close position or in both positions.
These locking arrangements are made of carbon steel
or stainless steel.
Position Indicator & Limit Switches :
All shalimar valves can be equipped with position
indicator or limit switches. |
